formed AOII to continue the friendships we made in college
throughout our lifetimes" ~~ Stella Perry,

Alpha Omicron Pi was founded
January 2, 1897 at Barnard College of Columbia University in
New York City. AOII has chapters in over 39 states and
Canada. With 177 collegiate chapters installed and over
250 alumnae chapters, over 115,000 women have joined AOII.
AOII has a strong tradition in Ohio, chartering 10
collegiate chapters (the most in any one state) and 7 alumnae
chapters. Many alumnae have gone on to support the Fraternity
as advisers, International volunteers, and Chapter
Consultants. Chi Epsilon is proud to be part of this tradition
of leadership.
