Individuality - Through our diversity of personalities and interests, we are able to strengthen our bonds of
friendship while remaining true to our own identities. Alpha Omicron Pi encourages each member to recognize
what is unique in each of us, to develop our individual talents and to be proud of our differences. 

Academic Achievement - The pursuit of academic excellence is supported and encouraged for every member.
Our VP of Academic Development works with her Adviser to help our members meet their academic goals by
providing tutors, study programs, incentives and recognition for academic success. AOII Foundation also
provides thousands of dollars in undergraduate and graduate scholarships each year to members. 

Fun, Friendship & Sisterhood - AOII provides an opportunity to have fun and enjoy all that the college
experience has to offer. Sharing good times are at the heart of each AOII chapter’s activities. From sharing
laughter with a sister, to planning rush parties, to dancing at Rose Ball, membership in AOII is fun. 

Service - One of the founding principles of Alpha Omicron Pi is to be of service to others - an opportunity to
give something back to our communities. We are involved with various fund-raising and hands-on service
events. Our sisters have fun while sharing their friendship and love through community service. 

Leadership - Through active involvement in the chapter, there are many effects that AOII has had in
individual lives. Whether a member chooses to serve on a committee, run for a chapter office, or represent
AOII as a member of other campus organizations, there are unlimited opportunities to be involved in AOII.
We offer something that fits into every personal interest and encourages personal leadership development.
